1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services offered by Brahmanic Trails ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), a travel and adventure company registered in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

By accessing our website, making a booking, or participating in any of our trips, treks, expeditions, or curated itineraries, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our services.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking. Travellers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• By booking a trip, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
• You are responsible for ensuring that all members of your group meet the fitness and health requirements for the selected adventure.

3. Booking & Reservation

3.1 How to Book

Bookings can be made through our website, email, phone, or WhatsApp. A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required advance payment and a confirmation email from Brahmanic Trails.

3.2 Advance Payment

• A minimum advance payment (as specified on the trip page) is required to confirm your booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the trip start date, unless otherwise communicated.
• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) unless stated otherwise.

3.3 Group Size & Availability

All trips are subject to availability and minimum group size requirements. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a trip if the minimum group size is not met, in which case you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Traveller

If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund structure applies:

• 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus processing fees
• 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund of total trip cost
• 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund of total trip cost
• Less than 7 days before departure: No refund

All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to info@brahmanictrails.com.

4.2 Cancellation by Brahmanic Trails

We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, or safety concerns. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

4.3 No-Show Policy

Failure to arrive at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation. No refund will be issued for no-shows.

5. Trip Inclusions & Exclusions

Each trip listing on our website clearly outlines what is included and excluded. Generally:

5.1 Inclusions (unless stated otherwise)

• Accommodation as specified in the itinerary
• Meals as mentioned (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
• Transportation from the designated pickup point
• Professional trek leaders and local guides
• Permits and entry fees (where applicable)
• First-aid and safety equipment

5.2 Exclusions (unless stated otherwise)

• Travel to and from the pickup/drop-off point
• Personal expenses (tips, laundry, phone calls)
• Travel insurance
• Any meals or activities not mentioned in the itinerary
• Emergency evacuation costs
• Anything not specifically mentioned in inclusions

6. Health & Fitness Requirements

• Adventure activities involve physical exertion and inherent risks. You are responsible for ensuring you are physically and mentally fit for the chosen activity.
• You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or medications at the time of booking.
• Brahmanic Trails reserves the right to refuse participation to any traveller deemed unfit by our trek leaders or guides, without refund.
• We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel and medical insurance before any trip.

7. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Adventure travel, trekking, camping, bike expeditions, and outdoor activities carry inherent risks including but not limited to injury, illness, altitude sickness, adverse weather, and property damage.

By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Brahmanic Trails, its employees, partners, and guides shall not be held liable for:

• Personal injury or death arising from participation in activities
• Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
• Delays, cancellations, or changes caused by weather, government actions, road conditions, or other force majeure events
• Actions or negligence of third-party service providers (hotels, transporters, etc.)

8. Itinerary Changes

While we make every effort to follow the published itinerary, Brahmanic Trails reserves the right to modify, alter, or cancel any part of the itinerary due to:

• Weather conditions or natural events
• Safety concerns assessed by our guides
• Road closures or transport disruptions
• Government restrictions or permit issues
• Any other circumstances beyond our control

In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made where possible, and no refund will be due for changes made in the interest of traveller safety.

9. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to:

• Follow the instructions of trek leaders and guides at all times
• Respect fellow travellers, local communities, and the environment
• Refrain from littering; follow the "Leave No Trace" principle
• Avoid consumption of alcohol or drugs during treks and adventure activities
• Not engage in any behaviour that endangers yourself or others

Brahmanic Trails reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful, without refund.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Brahmanic Trails website — including text, images, logos, graphics, videos, and design — is the property of Brahmanic Trails and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from our website without prior written permission.

11. Photography & Media Consent

During our trips, photographs and videos may be captured by our team or fellow travellers. By participating in a Brahmanic Trails trip, you grant us permission to use such photographs and videos for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes unless you notify us in writing before the trip that you do not wish to be photographed.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

13. Changes to These Terms

Brahmanic Trails reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
