Most conversations about motorcycle expeditions in India gravitate straight to the Himalayas — and for good reason. But Rajasthan offers something genuinely different: wide open desert highways, forts that rise straight out of the landscape, and villages where hospitality is practically a way of life.

Unlike high-altitude routes, riding season here runs opposite — October through March, when daytime temperatures are comfortable and nights are cool enough for a bonfire and a clear view of the stars.
