Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Manali – Trek Briefing

Arrive in Manali and check into your accommodation.

The day is reserved for trek briefing, gear check, and submission of medical and risk forms. You will also be guided on acclimatization to prepare for the high-altitude journey ahead.

Day 2 - Manali to Sugalwas (Drive)

Drive Distance: Approx. 150 km Altitude: 2,000 m to 3,300 m

Begin the journey with a scenic drive from Manali to Sugalwas through the stunning landscapes of Lahaul Valley.

Enjoy breathtaking views of mountains, valleys, and remote Himalayan terrain before reaching the peaceful village of Sugalwas.

Day 3 - Sugalwas to Kukum Got

Trek Distance: 4 km Trekking Time: 6–7 hours Altitude: 2,450 m to 2,950 m

Start the trek with a steep ascent from the roadhead. The trail passes through untouched alpine terrain offering complete solitude.

Enjoy stunning views of snow-capped peaks and ridgelines before reaching the beautiful campsite at Kukum Got.

Day 4 - Kukum Got to Karu Thach

Trek Distance: 4–5 km Trekking Time: 4 hours Altitude: 2,950 m to 3,520 m

Ascend gradually through wide meadows and traditional shepherd trails. Cross streams and seasonal mountain rivulets while witnessing diverse alpine flora and fauna.

Reach Karu Thach, a scenic campsite surrounded by vast mountain landscapes.

Day 5 - Karu Thach to Ramdhar Lake & Back

Trek Distance: 6 km Trekking Time: 7–8 hours Altitude: 3,520 m to 3,950 m

Start early for the most exciting day of the trek. Ascend through alpine meadows and rocky terrain toward Ramdhar Lake.

Witness the serene beauty of this high-altitude glacial lake, surrounded by towering peaks and glacier formations with floating ice.

Return to Karu Thach for overnight stay.

Day 6 - Karu Thach to Sugalwas to Manali

Trek Distance: 8 km Trekking Time: 5–6 hours Drive Distance: 150 km

Descend through alpine meadows and shepherd trails as the landscape gradually transitions toward the valley.

Reach Sugalwas and drive back to Manali, concluding the trek with unforgettable memories of a truly offbeat Himalayan adventure.
