The day is dedicated to trek briefing, gear check, and submission of necessary documents such as medical and risk forms. You will also be guided on the importance of acclimatization before heading to higher altitudes.

Altitude: 3,500 m to 3,800 m
Begin the journey with a scenic drive from Manali to Sissu through the Atal Tunnel.
Start the trek from the base point and hike through gradual trails and beautiful meadows. Enjoy stunning views of Shikar and Mukar Beh peaks along the way.
Reach Shepherd Camp and settle into tents for the night.

Trek Distance: 6–7 km
Altitude: 3,800 m to 4,000 m
Today’s trek takes you deeper into the mountains with gradual ascents and descents.
Cross several streams and walk through expansive meadows before reaching the base camp near Ghepan Lake. The campsite offers stunning views of surrounding peaks and glaciers.

Trek Distance: 6–7 km
Altitude: Up to 4,200 m
The most exciting day of the trek begins with a challenging hike toward Ghepan Lake.
Traverse boulder sections and rugged terrain before reaching the mesmerizing turquoise lake surrounded by snow-covered mountains and floating icebergs.
Spend time at the lake soaking in the breathtaking views before returning to base camp.

Begin your descent following the same scenic trail back toward Sissu.
