Tucked into India's far northeast, Tawang is reached via the Sela Pass at over 13,700 feet, one of the highest motorable passes anywhere. The route winds through pine forests, alpine meadows, and army outposts before arriving at the Tawang Monastery, the largest in India. It's remote, less-travelled, and among the most rewarding rides in the country.
